As was communicated to you in writing on October 10, 2016, as a Graduate Research Assistant (“GRA”) at Oklahoma State University you are expected to work 20 hours a week in order to continue to receive your stipend. Since September 1, 2016, you failed to attend to your duties as a GRA therefore your assistantship was terminated effective October 10, 2016. Although you no longer will receive your stipend, you were advised that you will continue to receive your tuition waiver through the end of the Fall 2016 semester and receive student health insurance until December 31, 2016. It is our understanding that you requested and were withdrawn from all of your Fall 2016 classes on or about October 12, 2016. On October 12, 2016, you sent an email to OSU Career Services wherein you stated that you wanted Career Services to “[r]emove me from anything that sends emails from this pathetic excuse of a University. I want absolutely nothing to do with this incompetent, worthless, and inept University.” Therefore, the institution removed you from the Hire System and from the OSU email system, effective Friday, October 21, 2016.
Further, this letter shall place you on formal notice that all of the claims in your emails appear to have no legitimate basis in fact or law. Accordingly, be advised that if you do file suit, as threatened in your emails, OSU will vigorously defend it, and upon successful defense of that case, will seek attorney fees and costs against you for filing a patently frivolous and vexatious lawsuit. In addition be advised that your actions in contacting other institutions or continuing to disseminate defamatory statements may give rise to additional claims against you. [Emphasis added because I really like those words there, “be advised.” By whom? I do not remember asking some dumb cunt sociology faggot for legal advice…]
There is no further recourse available within the Institution for this matter and this is the final communication that the Institution will have with you regarding this matter.
